Another site worth checking out for fans of the Zappa phenomenon is Planeta Zappa. A cool blog with again a lot of information (in Spanish) on Frank. Also Zapping your Eyes seems an interesting place for more information and video clips of Z (again in Spanish). Finally, Peaches En Regalia is worth checking out (English) and has a lot of collected articles on Z.

You either love him or you hate him. The Enfant Terrible of the progressive music industry in the 1980s. I am of course talkin gabout Frank Zappa! On Studio z you cannot only find more information about the Z phenomenon, but also a massive amont of Z's music. Well recommended for all fans!

Front of the Queue

Front of the Queue is a well recommended blog which does post-hardcore (Fugazi), Future Pop (Seabound), Trip Hop (Morcheeba) and other progressive and alterantive genres and styles (Dresden Dolls, Oasis, Weezer, etc). The posts seem to come in batches of different albums from the same groups, which allows you to quickly collect entire discographies fast and easy. In other words a well recommended blog!

Tripoptico Bloggazine

Tripoptico Bloggazine is a pretty cool blog which does Electronic, Trip Hop, Hip Hop, Indie among other music genres. Language of the blog is Spanish and also includes Youtube video clips. Worth a visit.

1970s/ 1980s Pop and Disco Entries

We are going back a few decades today to finally arrive in the 1990s and the 1980s. Enjoy these smaller blogs which are specialised in disco and pop music from that time:

• Dance Classics Club - Mixes disco music from the 1980s into a nice dance remix ensembles.
• DJ Copycat - Is a Swedish blog with pop homemade remixes.
• Dj-n1 Blog - Is an easy 1980s/ 1990s pop music blog.

Der Likedeeler

Der Likedeeler is a politically inspired German written music blog. I have sympathy with their idea of mixing politics with music. I think that initiatives such as these should be undertaken more often.

Anyways, what to expect? Well, as you might have guessed already from the image above, Der Likedeeler is active on the left side of the political spectrum . Hence, expect a lot of alternative tunes. I saw The Residents (Avant), Mary Fahl (Celtic and Folk), Zur�ck zum Beton (German Punk) and Les Rita Mitsouko (French alternative Rock). In other words, pretty multi-disciplinary with an alternative edge. Not bad, not bad at all! Have a look and check it out!

Its Free Music

The owner of Its Free Music left me a notice some hours ago and responded to my request for more Bollywood blogs. Well, I got what I wanted. Although Its Free Music does not look like your average blog (it looks more professional than that), it sure looks good. The site is divided into five sections:

1. Bollywood Music
2. Featured
3. Indian Pop Music
4. Pakistani Music
5. Punjabi Music

Although the site looks relatively new, I think (and hope) we can expect a lot from it in the future. Keep this one bookmarked!
